الإنجيل ترجم في ٢٠٠٦ لكن ثلثه مفقود و هذا لأن النسخة الوحيدة منه الذي لم تحفظ في شكل الجيد و تعود إلى حوال ٢٥٠ سنة بعد المسيح حسب التحليل الكربوني.
This gospel was translated in 2006, but a third of it is missing, and this is because the only copy of it was worn-off and dates back to approx 250 AD according to carbon dating.
الكنائس المسيحية ترفض الإعتراف به لأنه يعود إلى أتباع الغنوصية المسيحية اللذي تعتبرهم مهرطقين. لكن أهمية هذا الكتاب أنه يبين أفكار و معتقدات غنوصية لها تأثير على أديان و فرق المشرق.
Mainstream Christianity refuses to acknowledge it because it belongs to “heretical” Gnostic Christians. But the significance of this book is that it shows dated beliefs that seem to have had an influence on religions and mystery cults in the Levant.

I will mention some passages and leave the rest to the reader.
ولكن عندما لاحظ يسوع جهلهم ، [قال] لهم ، “لماذا تدعون غضبكم يزعجكم؟ هل غضب إلهكم و [نجومه] على نفوسكم؟ إذا كان أي منكم [قويًا بما فيه الكفاية] بين البشر لإخراج الإنسانية المثالية ، قفوا وواجهوني “.
قال جميعهم ، “نحن أقوياء بما فيه الكفاية”. لكن معنوياتهم لم تكن شجاعة بما يكفي للوقوف أمامه – باستثناء يهوذا الإسخريوطي. كان قادرًا على الوقوف أمامه ، لكنه لم يستطع النظر إليه في عينه ، لذا نظر بعيدًا.
قال له يهوذا ، “أنا أعرف من أنت ومن أين أتيت. لقد أتيت من مهد باربيلو الخالدة ، وأنا لا أستحق أن أذكر اسم الشخص الذي أرسلك.”

But when Jesus noticed their ignorance, [he said] to them, “Why are you letting your anger trouble you? Has your God within you and [his stars] [35] become angry with your souls? If any of you is [strong enough] among humans to bring out the perfect Humanity, stand up and face me.”
All of them said, “We’re strong enough.” But their spirits weren’t brave enough to stand before [him] – except Judas Iscariot. He was able to stand before him, but he couldn’t look him in the eye, so he looked away.
Judas [said] to him, “I know who you are and where you’ve come from. You’ve come from the immortal realm of Barbelo, and I’m not worthy to utter the name of the one who’s sent you.”
Then Jesus, knowing that he was thinking about what’s exalted, said to him, “Come away from the others and I’ll tell you the mysteries of the kingdom. Not so that you’ll go there, but you’ll grieve much [36] because someone else will replace you to complete the twelve [elements] before their God.”
و الملفت هنا أن مهد باريبلو الخالدة شبيهة في “الصين الجوانية” عند الدروز و مهد الأسياد الأزلين في البوذية التبتية. حتى أن يسوع يختلي عن تلاميذه و يذهب إلى هناك لمقابلة “الجيل المقدس” و ثم يعود. أما باريبلو فهي “الفكرة الأولة” حسب الإعتقاد الغنوصي أي أحد حدود الله لكن منفصلة عنه.
It is striking here that the immoral realm of Barbelo is similar to the “Inner China” of the Druze and the immoral realm of the eternal masters of Tibetan Buddhism. Even Jesus would abandon his disciples and go there to meet the “holy generation” and then return. As for Barbelo, it is the “first thought” according to the Gnostics, but its one of the components or boundaries of God and yet separate from Him.
أجاب يسوع وقال له ، “تعال ، دعني [أخبرك] [عن الجيل المقدس. ليس لكي تذهب إلى هناك] ، لكنك ستحزن كثيراً عندما ترى المملكة وكل جيلها”.
عندما سمع يهوذا قال له: “ما الذي أفادني بفصلني عن هذا الجيل؟”
أجاب يسوع وقال ، “ستصبح الثالث عشر ، وستُلعن من قبل الأجيال الأخرى وستحكمهم. في الأيام الأخيرة سوف […] لك ولن تصعد إلى المقدس.”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Come, let me [tell] you [about the holy generation. Not so that you’ll go there], but you’ll grieve much when you see the kingdom and all its generation.”
When Judas heard this, he said to him, “What good has it done me that you’ve separated me from that generation?”
Jesus answered and said, “You’ll become the thirteenth, and will be cursed by the other generations and will rule over them. In the last days they’ll […] to you and you won’t go up 47 to the holy generation.”
و هنا نرى أن هذا الكتاب لا يبرئ يهوذا. لأن يسوع هنا يقول ليهوذا أنه سوف يحكم الجيل الساقط و لن يكون من الجيل الصالح.
Here we see that this book does not defend or exempt Judas. Because Jesus here tells Judas that he will rule the fallen generation and will not be from the holy generation.
عندما سمع يسوع ضحك. قال لهم: “لماذا تتساءلون في قلوبكم عن الجيل القوي والمقدس؟ 37 حقًا أقول لكم ، لن يولد أحد فيه من هذا العالم, لا جيش من الملائكة من النجوم حكم عليه ، ولن يتمكن أي شخص من ولادة ميتة من الانضمام إليه.
Now when Jesus heard this [his disciples asking about the holy generation], he laughed. He said to them, “Why are you wondering in your hearts about the strong and holy generation? 37 Truly I say to you, no one born [of] this realm will see that [generation], no army of angels from the stars will rule over it, and no person of mortal birth will be able to join it.
و يحتوي الكتاب الكثير من أشياء الملفتة و الموجودة عند أديان المشرق و الزرادشتية. كما اقتران النجم في الإنسان و علم الأرقام و تقسيم العالم و السماوات.
The book contains many interesting things found in the religions of the Levant and Zoroastrianism. It also associates man with his star, the world with numerology and goes over the division of the world and the heavens.
