تيموثي هوغان هو باحث و كاتب من البناءون الأحرار و سيد الحالي لتنظيم المعبد السري و هو من تنظيمات حراس الهيكل. يتكلم في كتبه عن تأثر حراس الهيكل في الدروز (حين كانت الدعوة الدرزية لا تزال مفتوحة عند وصول الصليبيين) و عن التشابه الإثنان في الميثاق السري و شروطه.
Timothy Hogan is an author and researcher in Freemasonry and the current Grand Master of the Order of the Temple of Secret Initiates (a Knight Templar lineage). He has written in his books about the influence of the Druze on the Templars (when the Druze religion was still open to outsiders at the times of the Crusades) and the similarities of the Pact of initiation between both groups.

In this interview, he confirms that some Knight Templars are indeed Druze. He also confirms both groups had been communicating in the past and even have relations to this day.
